Kids warm my heart

I have a big heart. I want everyone to have an open, happy life, like a flower newly opened. I think of working with kids and what I would tell them every day. It would sound like the things I tell myself every day.

You are important, so important that I would cry for you if you disappeared.

You are smart all the time. When you make mistakes don't get mad at yourself. It doesn't mean anything about you when you make mistakes. You are smart and capable.

You're funny! You brighten my day and other people's day.

You are strong. Even if you're afraid to play with other kids, or afraid to try to play baseball at recess, just remember that you're strong, and anyone that's strong can play whatever game they want.

Do me a favor and say those things to yourself every night, and after 100 days look in the mirror. It will all be true :)

I stand up for myself

I stand up for myself and my ideas. I stand up for myself verbally, physically, and with my actions.

Verbally - I say what I really think without catering to the person listening. Here in America there is a lot of hierarchy in conversation, but I opt out of that. I am my own person, I speak with a loud and clear voice because I'm proud of who I am and I want to be heard. I never talk down about myself and always focus on the positive.

Actions - I get what I want through my actions. I have goals for myself which are meaningful to me and I NEVER DO what will sabotage myself in reaching for that goal. I do make mistakes and embrace trial and error, but I do not get stuck or move backwards. I create the life that I want to live every day, a life that is fulfilling to me. My actions belie the respect I have for myself.

Physically - I eat, rest, and exercise for health. If I want to look a certain way then I will. I defend myself by fighting if I have to, and I'm not afraid. I have courage to face anyone that tries to fight with me. I take care that I have good posture. I stretch every morning.

I stand up for myself in everything I do. I respect myself and love being me. In the past If I have not stood up for myself, that's ok. That's who I was, that was then, it happened and it's gone. The present is far better than the past and the future. The present is all I have. Right now in this moment, and every moment, I love myself. I stick up for me now, now now.

I love improving

Today is a great day.
I felt so strong and ON at work that I worked out right after with the dogs out running around. This shit is working, my LIFE is working. Things are going up everywhere I look. I'm grateful that I'm grateful.

Today I am secure in myself. I am who I am and that's ok no matter who is around, no matter what the situation. Secure.

Today I am guided by my own compass. I listen to my inner Yes and No and that's how I navigate the world.

Today I respect my word as my law. I do what I say I'm going to do, and I finish what I start.

These three are deeply satisfying and I want to keep them around for a long time. This is my morning for many mornings to come. Secure, Committed to my Word, and Self Guided.

Peace on to all people and love for the earth. Amen.

Today's goal which I will carry with me for the entire day.

I have been following my mornings, fuck to the yeah, I know this is what I need and I know that I'm getting it. This morning I want to put down in text who I am living up to be today and perhaps I can find the overall picture of who I will be.

First I am honest with myself -- I can feel my wants just like I can feel what kind of food will satisfy my hunger and what kind of music fits my mood. I feel my wants and I don't deny them. I embrace my wants because that's a true expression of who I am. Somewhere inside me I want to be with a man because I think it will be a good experience. I also want to be more potent -- the story I've created for myself robs me of my virility, so it's time to drop that shit like an old pair of undies in a mexican neighborhood. That's the big one I'll focus on for today.

Today I'm not a victim, things don't just happen to me, it's not the way it is just because.

TODAY I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERY PERSON AND EVERY THOUGHT IN MY LIFE.

I will remember this title:)

I'm making this blog for personal development. Here I state my goal and anything else that will help me.

Goal:
Every morning say a positive message to myself -- "I am in control of my own life, I am committed to carrying out what I agree to, I love being exactly who I decide to be - me."
Every morning stretch for 15 minutes.

Tomorrow morning I will remember!!!
I have some things to do tomorrow morning, I will remember!
Tomorrow morning when I wake up, I will remember what I said I would do! GO!
